Busing in Rural South Korea

Here are two links to official English bus schedules in South Korea:

T-Money: https://txbuse.t-money.co.kr

Bus-tago: https://www.bustago.or.kr/newweb/en/index.do

T-money is the major bus system for intercity destinations. Bus-tago is typically for places omitted by T-Money.

Note that T-Money and Bustago won’t list all routes and/or timetables. And unless you know how to navigate Naver/Daum, you may have to ask in person for rural departures.

I’ve gathered some bus schedules from several rural towns in the Chungbuk area, and if you so happen to live in one of them, this may help you out.

There are both direct buses (“shiwei”) and local buses (“shinae”).
